Seriously?
Ok, people, I have read a TON of stuff online about reactions to this whole “Private Practice” spinoff. It seems most loved or hated it. Where do you fall? I can’t believe some of you frequent commenters have zero opinion. Spill it!
Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice

Sorry, sorry! I didn’t get to watch this until this weekend. I KNOW! It killed me to have to wait. Anyway, I was disapppointed with the Seattle Grace group this episode. And the scenes from next week show Derek possibly hooking up with someone else? This does not make me happy. Meredith’s father is just out of control. I also wondered why Meredith was working on the case, and I am kind of sad to see Mare Winningham go.

More later…

Now to Private Practice… I liked it okay. The talking elevator was a little too much. The guy dating the Internet girls and having his car stolen annoyed me. I can’t really buy Tim Daly as a new age guy. But I think the show has potential, and I’ll probably watch it if it makes it. I kind of liked all the different doctors working together, not just surgeons. That was interesting.

I have to say that I really don’t like the concept of Private Practice, but if it is going to happen, then why did they ruin a perfectly good Grey’s with it? I think that Addison brings an interesting (and well-loved) aspect to Greys and I’d hate to lose her to this. I just don’t see it going over well!

I agree with Jessica. It made absolutely no sense to drop this in the middle of a regular Grey’s.
It wasn’t exactly a seamless interweaving, either. You might as well have dropped a Jerry Springer episode into the middle of Masterpiece Theater.
