Ok, so I watched it

by

Wow. Wow, wow, wow.

So Izzie thinks it is the start of something good and George of course, being married and all, wants to forget it ever happened. Wow.

I felt for Izzie in this episode. She was the one that remembered and she was the one that thought it was more than a stupid mistake. Could this girl get her heart broken any more? And what about Callie? She’s going to have a broken heart, too, when she finds out George cheated on her. And you know she will find out.

The thing I love about this show is that even in dire situations, there is always a bit of fun to be had. I loved when Izzie just blurted it out to Addison and Addison says, “What am I? the go to person for adultery?” Too funny. Again, I have to point out that I’ll miss her on this show.

And Derek? Derek is messed up with worry, y’all. He can’t get over that Meredith let herself almost drown. When the series first started he was sharp and focused on becoming the next Chief and now he says, “A 10 year plan? I don’t know about 10 years from now.” Ouch. What’s going on there? Is he getting soft or just realizing that his future life doesn’t include being Chief?

And meanwhile Meredith won’t deal with any of it. She’s saying she is fine and she’s going about her business. In the process Mark is using her to make himself look good. Although Mark did have a point, if she proved herself in surgery, Richard might stop looking at her like she’s a wounded puppy.

The attendings all lined up to interview for the Chief job. I have a sneaky feeling Richard won’t be giving that spot up so soon, though. I hope not, at least. I like him.

And Callie’s dad showed. Yawn. I do like Hector Elizando, though.

And Burke and Christina seem to have gotten on the same page again. But did I miss the part when she told him she changed her mind and wouldn’t be marrying him solely to please him? Because to me, that’s how she still feels, right? Did she say otherwise?

Now what did you guys think?

You’re right. Christina never said she WANTED to get married. That bothered me, too. All she did was talk about what kind of wedding she would have. She’s still doing it just to make him happy, so I’m not sure why he was so quick to forgive…

Okay… I am in agreement on all your comments. I don’t know about George and Izzie, but I definitely think the O’Malleys have an expiration date (this would be a good cliffhanger - Callie finding out). I’d watch my back if I were Izzie. Callie could kick her you know what!!

  3. Hilary Says:

I was just really hoping to see Bailey kick Mark’s ass.
