Elsewhere, Sloane stepped it up for Lexie to meet her now sober father. Thatcher is working through his steps and apologized to Meredith and Lexie. Lexie reconnected with him, but Mer went running. She had a massive fight with the Chief over a little girl that shot her abusive father and reminded him that he wasn’t her father. In a touching scene at the end, the Chief apologized for overprotecting her now and for not protecting her as a child. [...]
