“I’m coping, ok?”

by

Wow. Good episode. It went down pretty much like we all thought. Meredith pulled through and her mother passed away. Even though I knew (or figured) both would happen, I still was surprised by some of the episode. It was very well done. I love that we got a little background on Christina losing her father at a young age. I loved every scene she was in. I liked that Izzie finally realized what an ass she was being. But is it too late? And what about Callie? Ouch - those were some rough comments. The one thing that did bother me a bit was we didn’t get to see the other interns really react to Meredith’s situation. George was in LOVE with her and we barely got a few reaction shots from him. Anyway, I know it was impossible to get everything in.

Addison — yep, there’s the set up for her pilot. Mark will screw up (read, screw someone else, maybe Izzie?) during the 60 days he agreed to go without sex to prove he’s serious about Addison. And when he does, she’ll go back to New York for her new show, costarring Taye Diggs (yeah, forgot to tell you guys that). The main disappointment about her leaving is thinking we won’t get to see her interact with Derek and the gang anymore. And goodbye Addisex, we hardly knew ye.

But back to tonight. What did you guys think?

I didn’t like the episode. It was way too dorky. But I’ll go back and watch and get a second opinion.

I don’t want Addison to leave. I love her on the show.

I feel like I got cheated into watching a daytime soap… the dead character reunion was way too much. I agree that Cristina was the best part, but if the show hasn’t jumped the couch, it’s creeping over the edge.

Loved it! I really loved the twist on Meredith and her mother “trading places”…They re-showed last week’s episode here first, and I was glad to see that because I missed the last ten minutes last week due to an idiotic VCR machine. I only recently started watching this show, and am hooked now!

  4. Religion » Blog Archive » Grey’s Anatomy and Heaven Says:

[...] Last night on Grey’s Anatomy, the lead character of the show briefly died. She went to…I’m not sure…Heaven? Purgatory? In any case, she was in the empty hospital with Denny (Izzie’s dead finance), a girl they couldn’t save from an earlier episode, and the leader of the bomb squad who blew up in season 2. Later, her mom dies and shows up. You can read more about the episode on Amy’s blog. [...]
