Heigl and Dempsey’s not so big year

Our friends at Seattle Grace lost last night on Vh1’s Big In 2006 Awards. Dr. Stevens lost “Big It Girl” last night to Katherine McPhee. I’m sorry, y’all, but boo hiss. I’m thinking they said the wrong Katherine’s name! I just don’t see how McPhee beat Heigl. Oh well. Those runners up on American Idol just take over the world, don’t they? First Clay, now Katherine.

And even more upsetting is Kiefer Sutherland’s win for “Big TV Star” over Patrick Dempsey. I don’t watch 24, and I hear it is fantastic but come on! Sutherland over McDreamy?? Travesty!

    I think the winner was the celeb who actually agreed to turn up. I think Justin Timberlake said as much in his acceptance speech. Which would explain why the Grey’s people didnt win

    If I had to take a guess, publicists and such probably knew who would win, so their clients didn’t show. Since this isn’t the Emmys, I don’t blame a single person for not flying cross country for a VH1 show. That’s just my 2 cents.
