Fact or Fiction?

Mike Aussiello clears up some rumors about Grey’s Anatomy for us:

Tiffani Thiessen by John Sciulli/WireImage.comJudging from my Ask Ausiello mailbag, the rumor mill is in overdrive with tales of cast shakeups, on-set feuds and top-secret plot twists. And, frankly speaking, I find the lack of truth surrounding some of these so-called news stories really annoying. So, whaddaya say we separate fact from fiction…

Rumor: Tiffani Thiessen is joining the cast of Grey’s Anatomy as Derek’s sister.
Fiction. A Grey’s rep flatly denies that the ex-90210 vixen is bound for Grey’s.

Rumor: Sara Ramirez is following Isaiah Washington out the door on Grey’s.
Fiction. On June 7, all of the principal actors on Grey’s (with the exception of Washington) were informed by ABC that their contract options had been picked up.

Hmm…. I thought for sure Sara Ramirez was on the way out. Who knows, maybe she’ll show up but not stay the entire season?
