there has to be a more discrete way to do this than to publish something extremely personal on the web - this is disrespectful to her and her-half-siblings. i see this as either 1. you wanting publicity or money or some other personal gain for yourself 2. you’re flat out lying 3. you really do want to get in touch with her but have no independent thoughts or respect or class to keep it on the down low.

    my thoughts? have some class

Ok, guys, enough with the Elizabeth Reaser is related to me stuff. To the latest commenter, going by “me” — I have no clue who this person is that claims to know Elizabeth. For all we know it is a joke. If it continues on, I’ll delete all of it, ok?

  5. Laura M Says:

Well, I can tell any of you that are interested, it is not a joke. I am one of those children who is biologically related to Elizabeth Reaser. While I agree there are certainly more discreet ways to find your bilogical siblings when you are given up for adoption, discretion has taken me no where at this time. I also agree that it is a personal issue, but it is MY personal issue. My personal issue along with Elizabeth. Elizabeth has chosen to be a public figure and her choice hopefully will allow us both to learn about each other. I recognize it was not her choice that her father gave me up for adoption, but maybe she would like to decide for herself if she would like to meet.

In my mind, class is a very subjective word and would most certainly involve ones ability to be non-judgemental. I assume many of you have never watched a television show, looked at a magazine, or seen a movie where another person not only dramatically physically resembles you but is truly, biologically related. I see my eyes, my mouth, my hair, and my blood. I want to know where I came from. Wouldn’t you?

In conclusion, I have exhausted almost every avenue I can to learn about Elizabeth and my birth family. I have faith someday I will know where I came from, and in the meantime I will enjoy watching Elizabeth from afar.

Oddly enough, I am deeply proud of Elizabeth and what she has done with her career so far. I imagine acting is her dream and passion, and I hope she is forever happy.
