AmyD
Here’s my third person bio for y’all:
Amy is a 20-something web/marketing professional with a great passion for music, pop culture and television. Her mom would want you to know that Amy holds a BA in Communications with an Advertising major and American Studies minor. But the important thing to Amy was that both of those were wickedly cool and awesome things to study in those post-adolescent/pre-quarter life crisis years.
Amy loves to write, theorize and opine on television and music the most. A world class ranter, you can also catch her musings and life stories over on www.amydabbs.com — seriously – you can’t make that stuff up. A walking, talking lyrical gangster with a heart of somewhat tarnished 10 carat gold, Amy does your funny bone good, and every once in a while, by accident, your brain good, too. Amy’s world renowned writing style is widely emulated but nothing’s as good as the original. Check her out; she’s just as crazy as you think she is.
Here’s my first person TV bio:
I’m a twenty something web/marketing professional with an unabashed TV obsession. I grew up in the glorious 80s which was a great decade to spend time watching old episodes of I Love Lucy and Bewitched. I cut my teeth and learned my alphabet with Elmo and Mr. Rogers. And since I was such TV junkie, as a 3 year old, when asked how to spell Amy, I’d smartly and sincerely reply with: “R-O-L-A-I-D-S.” I went on to be an Advertising major – go figure. Past those PBS days, I spent my Friday nights with the Dukes of Hazzard then with Bobby and the rest of the Ewings on Dallas. By the time I reached high school I was obsessed with Friends and ER. My love affair with the tube continues today with my McFriends at Seattle Grace on Grey’s Anatomy, my plane crash survivor pals on Lost and I fancy myself as the third Gilmore Girl. Fortunately for me, the genius that is Tivo has allowed me to spend some time away from home, but make no mistake, the second I cross the threshold I can’t turn the lighted box on fast enough.
