McSteamy who? (Just kidding!) But let me tell you something - Callie and Alex brought some serious heat to this season. And how sweet was it that Alex is still carrying a torch for Izzie? Are George and Callie really dunzo? Something tells me not so much.
Our beloved George finally moves on after the Meredith debacle and starts dating Dr. Callie Torres. TR Knight dyed his hair after last season and spent the summer with a blue ‘do.

I love Bailey even more this season and I couldn’t believe it when I found myself loving Addison, too. I can’t wait to see what is in store for them the rest of the season.

Our gang graces the cover of this week’s Entertainment Weekly! The cast was named 2006’s Entertainter’s of the Year. The magazine praises the show, calling it “nothing short of a phenomenon” and “Its myriad moods change from sexy to funny to dramatic to silly, making for an intoxicating thrill ride that is as unpredictable as it is unmissable.”

Isaiah Washington was in DC last week, emceeing the White House Summit on Malaria. There he met President Bush for the first time. Washington called Bush “genuine” and Laura Bush “very warm.” Does anyone else find those words interesting?? Before going back to LA, Washington made time to stop by Dick Cheney’s holiday party.

Fear struck Grey’s Anatomy nominee Katherine Heigl when her phone rang before dawn. “My mother called,” Heigl told PEOPLE, “and my first reaction was something was wrong. Grandpa died. I’m terrified. My mom’s crying and I really thought something was wrong.”
But then Mom broke the news: Heigl had been nominated for her Grey’s role as Dr. Izzie Stevens.
“I was really surprised. This was my first anything. I’ve never even won a trophy for sports or anything. This is really thrilling,” said Heigl, who in June became engaged to singer Josh Kelley.
“It’s been a pretty big year,” she said. “Now I’m getting nervous. I’m such a pessimist. When is the other shoe going to drop?”
