“I’m tired of you men acting like boys

by

A few discussion points:

1)Isn’t Addison an ob/gyn surgeon? If so, why in the world would she be performing intestinal surgery on a newborn? That’s what pediatric surgeons are for.

2)Did Meredith’s constant sticking up for Christina drive you nuts? Or was that just me?

3)Finally, more Bailey! Is she right – should Christina be punished just as severely as Izzie?

4)How did Burke go to being Derek’s best guy pal, all camping in the woods, etc. a few weeks ago, to hating him for screwing up his hand?

5) George needs to chill. I’m tired of angry George (even if it is justified anger).

6) Anything else?

I was wondering the same thing about whether Christina should be punished as severely as Izzie. I mean, Izzie DID kill somebody! And if you think about it, it was more a Burke mistake. He’s an attending. He should have known better than to go into surgery when he felt he wasn’t physically capable. Burke should have more consequences, I thought.

While I’m on Burke, what nerve he had blaming Derek! I am sick of him feeling sorry for himself and acting like everybody else is incompetent. I’m over Burke. And why did Christina get in the elevator at the end? Are they going to have some sort of reconciliation now that Burke’s letting Derek examine him?? I don’t get it. He’s still mad at her, right?

I’m tired of angry George, too. And, yes, Meredith was getting on my nerves tremendously! Although, I did cry when she hugged her mom at the end.

    Nice recap!

I am not a fan of George, he is either whining or holding grudges.

Doesn’t Meredith’s hair bother anyone? it is limp and is ALWAYS pareted down the middle.

  3. Holli Says:

Yes, Meredith’s hair needs some work. It really gets on my nerves.

  4. Allison Says:

    Booo angry George.

Another thing I was wondering: Why does chief think his wife will just take him back if he retires now? I mean, he’s been taking his good old time making up his mind about it. If I was her, I’m not sure I’d take him back even if he did retire.

  5. Katie Says:

I can answer question #1 partialy. In the middle of season two, Addison tells Karev off by basically reciting her resume. She mentions a Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship. This means that she is a board certified OB-GYN, you are correct. The fellowship indicates however, that she specializes in high risk preganancies, which does not usually involve neo-nate surgery, they do work very very very closely with the attending Neonatalogists. So the show is as accurate as they can be while still giving her TV time. There are only so many pregnant women that can be patients on the show.
